I worked at the Institute of Psychology to the MoI from 1991 to 2005. In the framework of those 14 years I worked consecutively in three different sectors, dealing respectively with psycho-diagnostics and selection of police personnel; training in psychology of students from the Police Academy; individual and organizational psychological consulting; crisis intervention and psychotherapy for police staff.
During the last two years of my work at this Institution (2003-2004) I was seconded to Kosovo, where I worked for UNMIK (United Nations Mission In Kosovo) and I completed my mission as Deputy Chief of the Counseling and Support Team. This period had a great influence on me – not only in my opening-up to the “bigger world” and my interrelations with representatives of over 50 nationalities from all over the world, but also by living in such an unusual environment and the psychological work with serious traumatic crises caused by death casualties and heavy losses.
Since 2005 I have my own private practice as a psychologist-therapist and conduct psychological consultations for individuals, families or groups.
