I have dedicated many hours to “surfing” foreign Websites, so as to study this comparatively new form of providing Internet services in the field of psychic health, which seems to appear under different names and titles such as – on-line therapy, cyber-therapy, Internet- therapy, e-therapy, e-mail-therapy. As it is relatively new, most sites devote special room/space to inform the potential customer/client about its essence, objectives and use. Below, I offer basic information about e-therapy, along the lines of the basic ethic norms of the International Society for Mental Health Online (ISMHO) (Principles for the Online Provision of Mental Health Services), which I abide by entirely.

If you are already reading this page it means that you are in the “waiting room” of my virtual psychological consulting room and are reading the notices on its “walls”.In these “notices” I have taken care that you find all the basic information you might need in order to make up your mind whether to “knock on my door” or not. I want to remind you from the start that at this very moment you can revel in the fact that you are a free human being with the right of choice… - here and now at this precise moment of your life!...There are doors which none of us would like to open – either due to the fact that we have already been there, or because they are of no interest to us. However, there are other doors whose thresholds we know we must cross, even if this provokes anxiety or worry... You are the one to decide which doors to knock on and which to turn away from.
